You've heard of Pooh Corner...

...get a load of POO Corner.
Winnie the Pooh's version probably smells a little nicer. This is Teagan's designated spot. Sometimes she'll sit right by the front door (a few feet to her right in this photo) but if she's really working hard, she'll scoot a little to her left, by the entry cabinet and get it done. It must not be privacy that she's looking for, since there's still a whole lotta visibility, but she needs the separation. She gets upset when i make eye contact, and forget trying to hold her or show her any kind of compassion - the girls needs her space. I used to be able to rub her tummy or her back to help her feel a little better, but lately she's been taking my hand and moving it away - not hitting me (phew) but just letting me know that she needs to do it on her own. I know lots of kids like their privacy when they do their business, but it's been so funny to see Teagan fit into that stereotype just over the last few weeks and pick "her spot".
