Lazy Mornings

I can't believe Mason is four months old already. I keep thinking he's a newborn, and have yet to get him on any semblance of a schedule. We come and go as we please, and it works for us right now. Since I'm enjoying even less time to myself lately (I didn't think less than zero existed, but I've been proven wrong) I've been staying up a little later to do things like write this because it's the only time I'm not being tugged on or yelled at. This means it takes me a little longer to get going in the morning and so both of my babies end up in bed with me in the mornings and we lay around, nursing, playing with phones and sleeping - I'll let you guess who does what. It's actually been really tender and Teagan's been very patient with the whole thing. Some of the sweetest moments have happened in the morning while we're just hanging around.
Every morning she comes in (if she hasn't been in our bed for hours already) and tells me "I love our baby" and "Mason is so cute." It's so sweet to hear. Sometimes she even asks to hold him and that always gets interesting.
We pulled Daddy in with us one Sunday morning (that's the only day the poor chap gets to sleep in) and just enjoyed lazing about as a family.
If only we could do this all day, but alas, some of us have to go to work. I get to do it longer since I'm not "some of us"!
