ROCKS. The forgotten food group.

Be forewarned: This may be one of the videos only a grandparent could love. Yes, babies tend to learn to walk and toddle around and mine is no exception. I just wanted her grandparents and aunts and uncles to be able to catch a glimpse of what she's up to. Which essentially is walking (heavy footed) in circles around the backyard picking up rocks. Luckily on this particular trip around the yard she chose not to eat any rocks. Perhaps she's looking for some more salt in her diet because she insists on sucking on big rocks and trying to eat little ones. We aren't to the point yet where I can send her outside. Her outside time seems to require constant vigilance on my part to make sure that she doesn't grind her baby teeth to bits on the rocks we have all over the place. I feel like a warden at times, perched on my watchtower (read: lawn chair) making sure she doesn't bring harm to herself or others. But I hope you enjoy. And yes, she looks slightly homeless, what with the polka dots and stripes, but it was the closest jacket I could find and if I turn around for longer than a few seconds I'll be stumbling across rocks in her diapers. So we went with the dots.
